The six we write for

Today's front page is a price list

Your event has news in it. We write it, we put it out, you keep it.

Two ways to do that. Pick one and pay. No call, no account, no quote, no waiting on a proposal.

Every package, the same four things

  1. 01We create the narrative. The angle, the numbers, who is quoted.
  2. 02We write the content. A publicist writes it. You approve it before it moves.
  3. 03We distribute it. The Newsroom, and the wire and titles in your package.
  4. 04You keep the content. The release, the quote, the images, the report, as files. Yours, for the site, the deck and the sponsor pack.

Before you spend anything

Is it news?

A release only works if something happened. Here is the whole list, and we are not going to pretend it is longer than it is.

  • 01New dates, or a move to a new venue or a new city.
  • 02A record floor: more exhibitors, more square metres or more visitors than last time.
  • 03A headline exhibitor, speaker or act signed.
  • 04Sold out, or a hall released early because it sold out.
  • 05A first: first year, first city, first category, first of its kind here.
  • 06A partnership, a sponsor or an association coming on board.
  • 07An award won, or a shortlist announced.
  • 08A figure nobody has published: what the show is worth to the city, what exhibitors write in orders, how many came through the door.

If none of these is true, wait until one is.

That is the honest answer and it is the one we give. A release with no news in it gets published, indexed, and read by nobody. You have paid for a page that says your show is on.

Send us the situation at editor@eventpress.org and we will tell you which of the eight you are closest to, and roughly when you will have it. That costs nothing and it is not a sales call.

The one we see most often is 08. Almost every organiser is sitting on a number nobody outside the show has ever seen.

One of the eight is true? Then it is a release this week.

Newsroom

Releases we have written, in full, so you can read the writing before you buy it. They are the proof, not the product. The product is the package.

Every one of these came from a brief and ten minutes on the phone. Yours is the same job.

Placements available in

Titles our distribution reaches. This is not a claim that your release has run in any of them, and it is not a client list. Which titles a release reaches depends on the package you buy.

Wire and syndication

    Sponsored placement, priced on request

Named titles, priced, on request. See the full list. Most events do not need one: the packages above cover the wire, the trade press and the indexed page.

      After you pay

Four steps, and nothing goes out without your yes

      01

      You pay

Card, once. No account to make, no call to book, no proposal to wait for.

      02

      Five questions

We email five questions the same business day. Ten minutes of your time is the whole brief.

      03

      You approve the draft

You get the release in writing and one round of changes. Nothing is distributed until you say yes in writing.

      04

      It runs, you keep it

The report lands with every live link and the day it went live, and every file we made is yours.

      Place your order

Your order, your details, and what happened. Then pay.

Card payment. You get an order reference on screen and by email, we reply the same business day, and nothing is distributed until you have approved the release in writing.

      Guaranteed

The placements you paid for, live, with a link to each in your report, and every file we made, yours to keep. A declined placement is re-placed or refunded.

      Not guaranteed

Pick-up beyond those placements, a ranking, a traffic number, or anyone's endorsement.

Would rather ask first? Write to editor@eventpress.org and we will tell you whether the story carries a release before you spend anything.

Nothing in it yet. Pick a package.
